Plumbing Apprentice

At various project sites all around the Lower Mainland, we are searching for highly driven and energetic team players to join our team as plumbing apprentices. This is an opportunity for long-term, full-time employment.

RMS offers a company-funded, one-of-a-kind apprenticeship program in plumbing training and education.

We enroll you in classes, keep track of your hours with the ITA, and provide you with the on-the-job training you need to progress toward your Red Seal.

Journeyman Plumber

Russell Mechanical Systems is hiring Journeyman Plumbers! We are looking for Journeyman Plumbers, who are hardworking, with excellent work ethic for new construction, multi-residential wood framed apartment and townhouse projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be currently located in the Lower Mainland, BC
Minimum of 5 years’ experience
Valid Red Seal Journeyman ticket
Valid B gas ticket
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to follow directions
Strong verbal and communication skills
Must be willing to work hard and have a positive attitude

Junior Estimator & Document Control

We are looking for someone who is extremely motivated to join our evaluation team and is committed to developing their career as an estimator. In order to create fast and accurate full-cost estimates for projects, including materials, equipment, and labour, the junior estimator works to study construction documents, specifications, proposals, and other data.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Examine and assess job sites to determine costs
Recognize the extent of the project before placing a bid
Control the pricing of all vendor bids.
Develop a cost analysis.
Sporadic tasks helping at our job sites (e.g., material drop-off)

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in construction estimate of at least one year
Able to setup a 40-foot ladder
Ideally, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or a closely related discipline
Excellent customer service, ability to work well in a team setting, and commitment to quality
Extremely detail-oriented
Able to read architectural drawings and creating cost estimates
Being able to multitask and meet deadlines
A current driver’s licence
